Description:

In-situ major element contents of plagioclases (Pl), clinopyroxenes (Cpx) and olivines (Ol) quantified by EPMA at the Laboratoire Magmas et Volcans (Clermont-Ferrand, France) with a Cameca SX100 equipped with four wavelength dispersive X-ray spectrometers. Analyses for all minerals were performed with a 15 kV accelerating potential and a focused beam using a 15 nA beam current. On-peak and background counting times were 10 or 20 s (see details and calibration standards for each element at the end of Table S2). The data and associated average analytical errors for each mineral are available at the end of Table S2. MDL: minimum detection limit. n.a.: not analyzed.
